Tubifast 2-Way Stretch Elasticated Viscose Triangular BandageMlnlycke Health Care is setting a new standard for tubular bandages, with the launch of Tubifast 2-Way Stretch, the worlds first and only lightweight elasticated tubular bandage with radial and longitudinal stretch. The 2008 launch will coincide with the 25th anniversary of Tubifast, the original tubular dressing retention bandage that is still the market leader. Tubifast 2-Way can be used as a dressing retention and skin covering for any part of the body. It can also be used for patch wrapping and as an undercast stockinette. New Tubifast 2-Way is manufactured from viscose with very fine elastane threads knitted into the fabric radially and longitudinally, to provide light elasticity. The light, open weave rayon fabric allows air to circulate over the skin, helping to avoid maceration. A unique knitted-in safety lock ensures that Tubifast 2-Way cannot be applied too tightly. Tubifast 2-Way is available in a range of five widths, and has been designed to fit snugly over all limbs, no matter what the shape or size. Each size is identified by a colour coded line knitted into the bandage. Tubifast 2'way Blue Line 3m is specifically for Large Limbs. |
